Agrosight

Agrosight aims to help agriculture be greener and more productive by reducing crop losses and reduces use of pesticides, herbicides and fungicides. AgroSight developed a technique to identify initial symptoms of disease before they can be seen visually. The technique involves creating spectral profiles at high resolution for each problem and these are used as training datasets for detection algorithms.

AgroSight continuously collects and analyses a large stream of photos to find leading causes of disease. The product is free to the public. When a customer takes a picture of their crop, the app is claimed to determine if there is a problem and explain how to fix it, within seconds. Information about life cycle management, growing, harvesting and post harvest management are provided. Guidance on how to treat disease and grow using organic farming is available. Hydroponic Metrics such as pH and temperature ranges are also part of the app.
