Aimbrain is a London based bio-metric research and development company providing bio-metric identity solutions. The company is developing a mobile-friendly fraud prevention mechanism that can run in smart devices or a browser for authentication and identity verification. The system currently contains face, behavioral, anomaly, and voice analysis modules. As of April 2019, the company is working with banks, payment processors, and security companies with live trials.
Aimbrain’s BIDaaS (Biometric Identity as a Service) system is an alternative to fraud prevention technology that uses multiple steps of authentications and fraud detection. It aims to simplify authentication and fraud prevention with minimal friction with user experience. Aimbrain’s solution works to prevent industrialized fraud activities, bot attacks, and account take over. Multiple security models operate in the background of a client application to avert malicious behavior. Behavior, face, and voice analysis are part of Aimbrain’s BIDaaS platform. BIDaaS operates in the cloud and uses pseudonymous requests to ensure user privacy.
The company provides open-source SDK to allow integration with different types of system. Developers get 1000 API calls per month for free with face, lipsync, and voice module as their “On Demand” program. Behavior analysis and anomaly detection are available only for Enterprise customers.
Andrius Sutas and Alesis Novik founded the company in 2015 and is headquartered in London, England. Andrius previously interned at computer chip architecture company, Arm Architecture, where he got the idea to start a bio-metric identity company.
