Albert of Saxony (philosopher) was born in 1320 in Velpke and became a mathematician, priest, and philosopher. He held German citizenship and studied at Charles University.
Albert was a child of Margaret of Austria, Electress of Saxony. His mother was also Margaret of Austria, Electress of Saxony. He passed away on July 8, 1390, in Halberstadt.
