Hungarian-born british film producer and director
Alexander Korda (born September 16, 1893, Túrkeve, Kingdom of Hungary; died January 23, 1956, London, United Kingdom) was a film director, film producer, and screenwriter. Korda had citizenship in the Kingdom of Hungary, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, and the United Kingdom.
He directed numerous films throughout his career, including "St. Peter's Umbrella" and "Watchhouse in the Carpathians." Later in his career, Korda directed higher-profile films such as "The Private Life of Helen of Troy," "The Private Life of Henry VIII," and "That Hamilton Woman."
