Alexander Andreyevich Petrov (born January 25, 1989, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Yaroslavl Region) is a Russian actor of theater and cinema. He is a two-time Golden Eagle Award winner: for "Best Actor in a Motion Picture" ("Text", 2020) and for "Best Actor on Television" ("Sparta", 2019).
Born on January 25, 1989 in the city of Pereslavl-Zalessky, Yaroslavl region. He studied at the Faculty of Economics of the university. During his studies he was a member of the team "KVN", was a member of the student council, played in the theater-studio "Entreprise" led by V. A. Ivanenko.
During a theater festival in the town of Pokhvistnevo (Samara region), during master classes he got acquainted with GITIS teachers, including Leonid Kheifetz, after which he decided to leave the Economics Faculty during his second year and enrolled in the Russian Theatre Institute GITIS, graduating in 2012.

He made his film debut in 2010 in a cameo role in the TV series "Voices." In 2012, he played the lead role in the fantasy series "While the Fern Blossoms".
In 2012-2013, he served at the Et Cetera Theater in Moscow.
On January 25, 2013, he was accepted into the company of the Ermolova Theater under the direction of Oleg Menshikov.
