Alexandra of Denmark was born on December 1, 1844, in Copenhagen, with the birth name Princess Alexandra Caroline Marie Charlotte Louise Julia of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg. She held Danish citizenship. She was a Queen consort and a photographer, as well as part of the aristocracy class. Alexandra was known by the nickname Alix.
Her father was Christian IX of Denmark, whilst her mother was Louise of Hesse-Kassel. Alexandra had five children: George V, Prince Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence and Avondale, Louise, Princess Royal, Maud of Wales, and Princess Victoria of the United Kingdom. She was the mother of George V.
In addition, she owned the Wedding dress of Princess Alexandra of Denmark. Alexandra passed away on November 20, 1925, at Sandringham House.
