In 1954, the company developed the classic Alfa Romeo Twin Cam engine, which remained in production until 1995. It is worth noting that during the 1960s and 1970s, Alfa Romeo produced a huge number of sports cars, but despite this, the Italian government company Finmeccanica (now Leonardo), the owner of the company, chasing profit, sold the brand to Fiat in 1986 year.
