Alice Munro

Alice Munro, born Alice Ann Laidlaw, is a Canadian writer. She was born on July 10, 1931 in Wingham, Ontario. Munro studied at the University of Western Ontario.

Her literary works focus on the genre of short stories, with notable works including "Something I've Been Meaning to Tell You", "Too Much Happiness", and "Dear Life" (book). Throughout her career, Munro has held occupations as a writer, journalist, screenwriter, and novelist.

In recognition of her literary contributions, Alice Munro received the 2013 Nobel Prize in Literature.
