Alice Stone Blackwell (1857-1950) was an American journalist, poet, writer, and suffragette . She was born in New Jersey on September 14, 1857, and later became a citizen of the United States . Her parents were prominent suffragists Lucy Stone and Henry Browne Blackwell . Alice was educated at Boston University .
Throughout her career, Alice Stone Blackwell was actively involved in journalism and spent a significant amount of time promoting the causes she was passionate about. She passed away in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on March 15, 1950 .
