Alitheon

Alitheon is a machine vision and learning company that leverages off-the-shelf camera components, paired with proprietary software, to identify objects for supply chains, manufacturing, and distribution markets. It is headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, and was founded in 2015 by David Ross and Scot Land. The company claims their software does not rely on tags or barcodes to identify and register objects and instead uses the physical properties objects.

Featureprint ID is a digital manufacturing asset for identifying and tracing products for automotive manufacturing. Featureprint ID is capable of tracking the metal, plastic, fibers, and wood of every product involved in supply chains related to automotive manufacturing using computer vision, machine learning, and statistical methods. The Featureprint ID software is capable of creating a mathematical formula unique to each object it identifies allowing businesses and consumers to verify their products using industrial cameras or hand held applications.

Every product verified by Featureprint ID goes through a five-stage process:

• Image capture
• Surface analysis
• Statistical mapping
• Creation of a unique digital identity (1/10th the image size)
• System integration

Featureprint ID is made to work in challenging physical and environmental conditions such as: verifying obscured, worn, and/or contaminated products; maintaining insensitivity to product rotation and orientation; ability to identify and process batches of parts and moving parts; system versioning to support item level audit histories; and validating multiple components in assembly relationships.
