Allison Janney

Allison Janney is an American actor born on November 19, 1959, in Boston, Massachusetts. She holds citizenship in the United States and was born with the name Allison Brooks Janney. Jevis Spencer Janney is her father.

Janney received her education from various institutions, including Kenyon College, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Hotchkiss School, Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, and The Miami Valley School.

She is known for her work in the television series The West Wing. In addition to her work in TV, Janney has appeared in various notable films, such as American Beauty, The Hours, I, Tonya, and The Ice Storm.
