Altira Group

Altira is a venture capital and private equity firm that puts resources into advantaged oil and gas technology businesses. Its Fund VI partners are made up of a select group of the U.S. super-independent oil and gas companies that give assets during decision making and help quicken the development of the company's portfolio businesses by filling in as clients. Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, Altira was established in 1996 by Dirk McDermott.

In the past two decades, Altira has raised six funds, supported more than 55 businesses, and worked with entrepreneurs to create innovative businesses. The Altira group has more than 60 years of investing and business experience.
