Amadeus IV, Count of Savoy

Amadeus IV (1197-1253) was the Count of Savoy and a member of the aristocracy. He was born and died in Montmélian. His date of birth was in 1197 and he died on June 24, 1253. Amadeus IV was the son of Thomas, Count of Savoy, and Margaret of Geneva.

Amadeus IV had three children: Boniface, Count of Savoy; Beatrice of Savoy, Lady of Villena; and Beatrice of Savoy, Marchioness of Saluzzo.
