Amancio Amaro, better known as Amancio, is a Spanish footballer born on October 17, 1939, in La Guardia, Spain(74248736-37)(#place_of_birth). He is known for his performance as a striker, primarily for Real Madrid and the Spanish national team. Amancio's nationality is Spanish.
Throughout his career, Amancio had several accomplishments, including winning the Champion of Spain with Real Madrid in 1963, 1964, 1965, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1972, 1975, and 1976, the UEFA Champions Cup in 1966, and the Spanish Cup in 1970, 1974, and 1975. He also achieved success with the Spanish national team, becoming the European Champion in 1964. Additionally, Amancio was the top scorer of the championship of Spain in 1969 with 14 goals, and in 1970 with 16 goals.
In addition to being a football player, Amancio was also a football manager. He was often known by the pseudonym "el brujo". Throughout his career, Amancio received awards including the Spanish league and the European Cup(75858021-29).
