Andrei Rublev was a Russian painter and iconographer born in the Grand Duchy of Moscow in 1360. He was a citizen of the Grand Duchy of Moscow and held Russian nationality. Rublev was known for his work as an icon painter and a painter.
Andrei Rublev is best known for his notable works, such as "Christ the Redeemer" (icon) and "Trinity" (Andrei Rublev). He was also known as Saint Andrew.
Andrei Rublev passed away on October 17, 1428 at the Andronikov Monastery.
