Scottish geologist
Andrew Ramsay (born Andrew Crombie Ramsay) was a Scottish geologist born on January 31, 1814, in Glasgow. He worked as a geologist throughout his career, and his nationality was Scottish. Ramsay held citizenship in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
During his career, Ramsay received the Royal Medal, a prestigious award. He passed away in Beaumaris on December 9, 1891.
