Andrew Spinks is the creator of the game Terraria and the president and founder of Re-Logic. He was a lead developer of Super Mario Bros.X.
The development of the game was started in January 2011. Within six months of working on the project, Spinks will decide on the key mechanics of the game and by May of the same year the game was released in Steam. Over 50 thousand copies were sold on the first day, and 200 thousand copies were sold in the first week. He announced the completion of the development of terrariums in February 2012,but later in January 2013 hinted at a possible return to the game, confirming work on the update two days later. He then left the development of Terrariums version 1.3 to start looking for new programming languages to implement new projects, however, he returned and continued working on Terrariums until work on the update was completed. At the time of the release of Update 1.3 in June 2015, he was fully focused on working on Terrariums: Another World[9], which was announced in April 2018, but the development of the game was suspended, and he returned to work on updates in Terraria 1.3.5[10] and 1.4 (previously 1.3.6)[11].
