Anellotech

Anellotech is a sustainable technology companytechnology company that commercializes technology for the production of cost-competitive renewable chemicals and fuels from non-food biomass. Anellotech has technologies such as Bio-TCatTM for renewable chemicals and fuels, MinFreeTM for biomass pretreatment, and some feedstocks.

Anellotech’s bio-aromatics are being produced using loblolly pine feedstock from the southern United Statessouthern United States at Anellotech’s T-Cat8® pilot plant in Silsbee, Texas. Anellotech’s work at T-Cat8 focuses on converting MinFree pinewood into hydrocarbons on a continuous, sustained basis, process optimization, collecting data needed for commercial-scale Bio-TCat design and filling drums with tons of hydrocarbon for product development work. TCat-8’s operation has confirmed product yields and catalyst performance with extensive time on stream.

A recent LCA or Lifecycle Analysis review of Anellotech’s greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), by Jacobs Engineering GroupJacobs Engineering Group shows that renewably sourced Bio-TCat products produce significantly lower greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions compared to identical petro-based chemicals.
