Anne Seymour, Duchess of Somerset

Anne Seymour, Duchess of Somerset (1510–1587) was a citizen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. She was born in Sudbury, Suffolk and was a person of note during her lifetime. She eventually passed away on April 16, 1587.

Anne Seymour was the daughter of Edward Stanhope and Elizabeth Bourchier. She became the mother of several children, including Edward Seymour, 1st Earl of Hertford; Lady Jane Seymour; Lord Henry Seymour, a naval commander; Anne Seymour, Countess of Warwick; and Lady Margaret Seymour. She was notably the mother of Lord Henry Seymour, a significant naval commander of his time.
