Arab League

The Arab League, an organization, was founded on March 22, 1945 by Egypt, Iraq, the Emirate of Transjordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Yemen, and Jordan. Its headquarters is located in Cairo, specifically at the Headquarters of the Arab League.

The Arab League has several subsidiaries, including the Arab Air Carriers Organization and the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization. Additionally, the organization has a financial arm known as the Arab Monetary Fund.

Member states of the Arab League use various currencies, such as the Kuwaiti dinar, Iraqi dinar, Mauritanian ouguiya, Libyan dinar, Jordanian dinar, Syrian pound, Saudi riyal, United Arab Emirates dirham, Egyptian pound, Algerian dinar, Bahraini dinar, Tunisian dinar, Omani rial, Qatari riyal, Somali shilling, Djiboutian franc, Comorian franc, Yemeni rial, Moroccan dirham, Sudanese pound, and Lebanese pound.
