The Arab League, an organization, was founded on March 22, 1945 by Egypt, Iraq, the Emirate of Transjordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Yemen, and Jordan. Its headquarters is located in Cairo, specifically at the Headquarters of the Arab League.
The Arab League has several subsidiaries, including the Arab Air Carriers Organization and the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization. Additionally, the organization has a financial arm known as the Arab Monetary Fund.
