Arman, born Armand Pierre Fernandez on November 17, 1928, was a multidisciplinary artist known for his work in various fields, including sculpture, printmaking, painting, illustration, and figurative art. Born in Nice, France, he later became a citizen of both France and the United States.
Arman studied at the prestigious École du Louvre in Paris. Throughout his career, he used the pseudonym "Arman" and was known for his work in illustration as well as other art forms.
Arman passed away on October 22, 2005, in New York City, having made significant contributions to the art world in both France and the United States.
