Armando Iannucci is a multi-talented individual born on November 28, 1963, in Glasgow. He is a citizen of the United Kingdom and has an extensive career in various fields, including being a writer, radio producer, television producer, screenwriter, film director, comedian, television director, film producer, and showrunner.
Iannucci was educated at St Aloysius' College, Glasgow, University College, Oxford, and the University of Glasgow. Among his notable works is the creation of the popular television shows Alan Partridge, The Thick of It (2005-2012), and Veep (2012-2019). He also directed and produced the films The Death of Stalin, where he was a member of its board of directors, and In the Loop.
