Arraiy is a California based technology company developing a machine learning platform for creating real-time special visual effects during live capture. The platform uses deep learning and adaptive computer vision algorithms to replace elements of a motion picture without spending a great deal of time in CGI development. The company aims to personalize video advertisements, sports broadcasting, film production, and gaming industry by providing interactive configuration for elements in video content.
Arraiy’s DeepStudio is a suite of video production tools that integrates virtual elements into raw camera footage to provide live action CG interactions in real time. DeepStudio reduces the painstaking and enormously tedious process of adding digital effects in video editing. Arraiy is developing machine learning algorithms that learn to separate elements of interest in a video, frame by frame in a technique called rotoscoping.
Arraiy’s DeepTrack is a powerful real-time camera and rigid object tracking solution that performs markerless tracking with sub-pixel accuracy for real-time productions. Arraiy partnered with The Future Group to integrate DeepTrack's tracking ability with Pixotope's live virtual production engine to render real-time VFX graphics with geometric precision.
Arraiy is also developing DeepMatte, as a solution which performs matting without green background screens and DeepDepth to perform z-depth extraction and occlusion.
Gary Bradski, Brendan Dowdle, Ethan Rublee, and Michael Tetelman founded the company on April 1, 2016. The company is headquartered in Palo Alto, California, United States. Gary Braski is a well-known computer vision researcher who helped develop open source computer vision software library called OpenCV while working at Intel.
