Art Spiegelman (born February 15, 1948) is an American cartoonist, writer, novelist, comics artist, and illustrator. He was born in Stockholm, and is a citizen of the United States. Spiegelman attended Binghamton University in New York.
Besides his multiple occupations, Art Spiegelman is also the father of Nadja Spiegelman. Among his recognitions, he has received a Guggenheim Fellowship award.
