Arthur Schmidt (film editor)

Arthur Schmidt (born June 17, 1937) is an American film editor known for his work on various successful films. Schmidt was born in Los Angeles and holds citizenship in the United States. He is the son of Arthur P. Schmidt.

Throughout his career, Arthur Schmidt has edited several notable films across different genres. Some of his editing work includes the films: "Ruthless People", "Back to the Future" (1985), "Back to the Future Part II", "Back to the Future Part III" (1990), and "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl". Schmidt has also worked on films such as "Contact" (1997), "Cast Away" (2000), "Jaws 2" (1978), and "Sunset Boulevard".
