Prior to the launch he was a co-founder of Grasswire, and the author of a best-selling book, Secret Sauce. He also worked as a senior manager at LendUp, a social team lead at Stryde, and was part of the founding team at Stubtopia.
Austen Allred is professionally fluent in Russian, and is a father of two. His first child was born before he launched the Lambda School, which he credits as being a primary influence in his career. He claims that both of his roles as a father and as a founder have shaped each respective role. Allred moved back to his home town in Utah prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, and began remote work.
