Avril

Avril, originally called Sofiprotéol, was founded in 1983 as a collective farming initiative for French farmers to farm oilseeds (grape, hemp, linseed, olive, etc.) and protein crops (soybean, peanut, pea, quinoa, etc.). In 2015, Sofiprotéol changed it'sits name to Avril after becoming a limited partner with share capital to ensure their independence. These changes lead to the separation of the companies industrial and financial activities, and a restructuring of management and operational legal frameworks. Financial activities of Avril are performed by their financial and development arm Sofiprotéol.
