She is an American actress.
Born June 2, 1988, in New York (USA). Her father is an American of Chinese descent, her mother is Korean. In school played the trumpet and took jazz music courses.
At the age of 13 she rapped, and at 16 she took the stage name Aquafina. She studied journalism and gender studies at the State University of New York at Albany. From 2006 to 2008, she studied at the Beijing Language and Culture University. After graduation, she was an intern at a local newspaper and a public relations assistant at a publishing house.
The singer became world famous in 2012 after the release of the music video for the song "My Vag," and Aquafina recorded her first solo album titled "Yellow Ranger" in 2014.
She made her big screen debut as Christina in the comedy "Neighbors. On the Warpath 2" (2016). She is best known for her performance as Baek Lin in the romantic comedy "Crazy Rich Asians" (2018).
