Ayn Rand

Ayn Rand was a playwright, philosopher, novelist, screenwriter, and journalist. She was born on February 2, 1905, in Saint Petersburg, and held citizenship in several countries, including the United States, Russian Empire, Soviet Union, Russian Republic, and Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. Rand was educated at Saint Petersburg State University, and her work typically falls within genres such as Objectivism (Ayn Rand) and Dystopia.

Some of her notable works include The Fountainhead, Anthem (novella), We the Living, The Virtue of Selfishness, and Atlas Shrugged. Ayn Rand passed away on March 6, 1982, in New York City.
