Biography

Azamat Musagaliyev is a TV presenter, and in the past the captain of the team "National Team of the Kamyzyak region", a finalist of the KVN Top League. Today, the comedian cooperates with the TNT TV channel, where several projects are released with his participation. Childhood and youth

Azamat Musagaliyev was born in the provincial town of Kamyzyak, Astrakhan region in October 1984. He has an older brother and sister.

As Azamat himself tells, Kamyzyak is an urban-type village inhabited by 15 thousand people - naive, but with a great sense of humor. Because of the love of jokes and constantly sounding laughter, the town is even considered "Astrakhan Odessa". At one time, the largest enterprise that gave work to the inhabitants of the settlement was a rice factory.

Musagaliev's nationality is an ethnic Kazakh, but the boy studied at the Russian school No. 4 Kamyzyak. And still his parents instilled in him respect for the language of his ancestors. Azamat perfectly understood the Kazakh language and still communicates with his family members in it, as he once spoke with his grandmother.

The boy did not think about what profession Azamat Musagaliyev's biography would include in his childhood. He knew that his mother wanted her son to become a scientist or a teacher, that is, engaged in purely mental work, and his father dreamed of seeing his son in a white doctor's coat.

In his youth, Azamat spent most of his time hugging a guitar. At the insistence of his mother, he agreed to study at a music school, where he got into a string instrument class and became an excellent guitarist and vocalist. These skills were later useful to him in his career as a caveman.

When Musagaliyev was in high school, his father died suddenly. Remembering the pope's desire to see him as a doctor, Azamat entered the Astrakhan Medical Academy, but realized that this was not his path and treating people was in no way connected with his future profession.

The young man decided not to waste time, took the documents and the next year entered the Astrakhan State Technical University, where he received a degree in environmental engineering.

However, Musagaliyev did not work according to his profession in environmental protection either. The fact is that by that time his biography had already fully included performances in the Club of the Cheerful and Resourceful, so Azamat finally connected his future life with the artistic path and began touring as part of a team of comedians in the cities of the Russian Federation.

KVN

Azamat Musagaliyev started playing in KVN in his senior year. It all started with a friend's request to just play guitar in one of the student games. He went on stage as an accompanist, and left there thinking that he wanted to perform again and again. As the artist himself says, he "got sick" of KVN. Gradually he joined the game, in solving difficult tasks when creating humorous scenes and miniatures, in developing concepts, interpretations and other subtleties of ensemble performance.

During his student years, Azamat created a local team, which first performed in Astrakhan, and then began touring the cities of Russia and thus earning a living. Musagaliyev wrote many jokes and songs independently or in collaboration with the collective.

In 2007, Azamat became a new player of the Astrakhan national team of KVN "Alternative". Soon he was elected captain of the "National team of the Kamyzyak region". Among the best teams, she repeatedly got into the season of the KVN Top League. Musagaliyev continued to write jokes, texts and reprises for the team on his own, so all the scenes were author's.

In 2011, the "National team of the Kamyzyak region" became a finalist of the Premier League. With his team, Musagaliyev reached the semifinals of the 2012 Major League game, took 2nd place in the 2013 final. As a result, Azamat Musagaliyev began to combine 2 positions – captain and frontman of the humorous national team.

The hallmark of this bright team was the number "Meeting in the Kamyzyak court", which has already turned into a kind of humorous series: in each game, the court scene is played out in different variations. But in the new season of KVN, the Kamyzyaks said that there would be no more "trial." He was replaced by a new number called "Routine rounds in the Kamyzyak polyclinic".

The "national team of the Kamyzyak region", led by the captain, visited all the important games and was warmly welcomed everywhere. In Kyrgyzstan, Musagaliyev is known as one of the founders and the first editor of the Ala-Too regional league, which started in Bishkek in 2013. And 2 years later, under the leadership of the permanent captain, the "National team of the Kamyzyak region" became the champion of the KVN Higher League.

TV shows and YouTube projects

In 2014, the creative biography of Azamat Musagaliyev became richer: now he is known both as a bright KVN player and as an actor. The Astrakhan humorist became a participant in the show "Sense of Humor" on Channel One, then appeared in a cameo in the humorous series "Do not sleep!".

Musagaliyev also tried himself as a TV presenter, presenting himself to the audience as the main person of the entertainment show on TNT "Where is the logic?".

Azamat periodically appeared in the projects of his colleagues. So, he became a guest of blogger Irina Chesnokova's show "Bar in the Big City", which is broadcast on YouTube hosting. The artist has repeatedly returned to this project, and once performed the song "Something there something" there.

In May 2020, Azamat Musagaliyev launched the show "I know myself" on his YouTube channel. It is a quiz in which the host asks the star guests questions about themselves, but those to which they do not know the answers. And this is done for a reason, the main goal of the project is to find out a disgusting fact from the biography of the star. "Either you know yourself well, or we will find out all the bad things about you!" - this is the motto of the show. The quiz starred Basta, Denis Dorokhov, Garik Kharlamov and other representatives of show business.

In February 2021, a new show "Musical Intuition" was launched on TNT, hosted by Azamat Musagaliyev. The format of the program is a detective quiz. The task of the star guests, who are divided into three teams, is to recognize which of the people presented in front of them can sing and who can't. At the same time, there is no opportunity to hear the voices of the participants, you need to be guided only by intuition.

Azamat as the host gives tips to the guests. It tells the biography of the participants, facts about them, and also includes distorted demo recordings of their voices.

"In the show "Musical Intuition" you need to trust your gut, your premonition. But if our stars don't really believe in themselves, we still give hints. However, as practice shows, our participants convince everyone of their vocal abilities so coolly that it is better to believe intuition anyway, and not rely on what the participants tell about themselves," Musagaliyev shared.

In 2014, the show "Once upon a Time in Russia" debuted on TNT. There Azamat, as in KVN, not only joked and made people laugh as an actor and showman, but also sang. The song "About strategically important people", which was performed by Musagaliev and Vyacheslav Makarov, became one of the main hits of this entertainment program. In it, comedians "transmitted" important information to the world community under cheerful music.

The project turned out to be long-lived thanks to the sparkling jokes of the artists. The ratings of the program are consistently held above the channel's average. Among the performers of the main roles of the TV show are Olga Kartunkova, David Tsallaev, Alexander Ptashenchuk, Timur Tania. In 2017, Yulia Topolnitskaya was added to the cast, and Yana Koshkina appeared in 2018.
