Baruch College, founded in 1919, is a public higher education institution located in New York City, United States. It is a part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system and is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the Accrediting Commission on Education for Health Services Administration, and the Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration.
The college operates under the motto "The American Dream Still Works" and houses the Zicklin School of Business as one of its subsidiaries. As an educational institute, Baruch College is affiliated with the City University of New York, National Collegiate Athletic Association, American Association of State Colleges and Universities, and the National Athletic Association.
