Beatrice Hicks

Beatrice Hicks (1919-1979) was an engineer from the United States . She was born on February 1, 1919, in Orange, New Jersey and passed away on October 21, 1979, in Princeton, New Jersey. Hicks received an education from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Stevens Institute of Technology. She is recognized as the founder of the Society of Women Engineers. In 2017, Hicks was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame.
