Ben Gibbard is an American singer-songwriter, composer, guitarist, musician, and singer known for founding the indie rock band Death Cab for Cutie. Born on November 8, 1976, in Bremerton, Washington, Gibbard's full name is Benjamin Gibbard. He holds American citizenship and has also been referred to by the name Benjamin Gibbard.
