Benjamin Smith Barton

Benjamin Smith Barton (born February 10, 1766) was an American physician hailing from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He pursued his education at the University of Edinburgh and later became a prominent physician. Barton held citizenship in the United States. On December 19, 1815, he died in New York City.
