Benno von Arent

Benno von Arent (born 19 July 1898 in Görlitz, died 14 October 1956 in Bonn) was a German architect, film director, politician, costume designer, designer, and actor. He had citizenship in Germany.

Throughout his career, von Arent received various awards, including the Iron Cross, The Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, German Olympic Decoration, Order of the Crown of Italy, Wehrmacht Long Service Award, Anschluss Medal, and Nazi Party Long Service Award. He was also known as a member of the Nazi Party and SS.

Benno von Arent directed several films, including Ronny, Two Hearts Beat as One, The Girl and the Boy, Victor and Victoria, The Island, The Foolish Virgin: A Romance of Today, An Ideal Husband, and In the Ceiling the Stars Are Shining. His works were written in English, German language, and French language.
