BERRY BERENSON
She is an American actress, model and photographer.
She was born in New York City on April 14, 1948 to the family of diplomat Robert L. Berenson and Countess Maria Louise Yvonne Radha de Wendt de Kerlor. Her maternal grandmother was the famous Italian fashion designer and designer Elsa Schiaparelli, and she was also related to art historian Bernard Berenson and astronomer Giovanni Schiaparelli.
After a brief modeling career in the late 1960s Berry became a photographer and her photographs were published in Life, Glamour, Vogue and Newsweek magazines. Berry also starred in three films, Winter Brings Death (1977), Remember My Name (1978) and Cat People (1982).
On August 9, 1973, Berry married actor Anthony Perkins. By him she gave birth to two sons: actor and musician Oz Perkins and singer-songwriter Elvis Perkins. Berry stayed with Anthony until his death from AIDS on September 12, 1992.
Berry Berenson was tragically killed on September 11, 2001, in the terrorist attack on American Airlines Flight 11 in New York City.
