Billy Andrade

Billy Andrade was born on January 25, 1964, in Bristol, Rhode Island. He is a citizen of the United States and has American nationality. Andrade has been educated at Providence Country Day School and Wake Forest University.

Andrade is widely regarded for his charity work, particularly with his foundation, Billy Andrade/Brad Faxon Charities for Children, Inc.. He co-founded the organization alongside fellow golfer Brad Faxon, and they have successfully raised over $15 million for children in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts. The duo's charity efforts are mainly done through the CVS Caremark Charity Classic held at Rhode Island Country Club each summer. In recognition of their philanthropic work, the Golf Writers Association of America awarded Andrade and Faxon the Charlie Bartlett Award in 1999. The award is given to playing professionals for their selfless contributions to society.

Throughout his career, Andrade has participated in various golf tournaments and events, winning several awards such as the Shaw Charity Classic, ClubCorp Classic, PGA TOUR Champions, Mitsubishi Electric Classic, and the Regions Tradition, among others. He has also competed in various senior tournaments, including the Invesco QQQ Championship, Dick's Sporting Goods Open, Mastercard Japan Championship, Tucson Conquistadores Classic, PURE Insurance Championship, American Family Insurance Championship, KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, Rapiscan Systems Classic, and The Senior Open Championship presented by Rolex.
