BioEnterprise is a business formation, recruitment and acceleration initiative designed to support growth-stage bioscience companies in Northeast Ohio. The initiative’s client companies have received over $3 billion in funding since the initiative’s founding by Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals and Case Western Reserve University in 2002.
BioEnterprise’s resource and program offerings evolve with the needs of its current bioscience clients.
Today, the primary offering of the initiative is a two-story life science incubator; located in the heart of University Circle, it is the only life science incubator in proximity to the founding institutions. This vibrant facility provides clients dedicated wet and dry lab space and communal access to state-of-the-art fume hoods, freezers, incubators, autoclaves, quantitative tools and other laboratory equipment. The facility also provides its life sciences tenants with administrative amenities that include flexible workstations, private and shared offices, and conference rooms.
BioEnterprise also collaborates closely with regional and state economic development partners and funders on workforce and economic development activities focused on talent growth, recruitment and retention.
