Blaize is formerly known as ThinCI Semiconductors is an artificial intelligence computing platform and hardware company. It focuses on the development of products for the automotive, smart vision, and enterprise computing markets.
It offers the Blaize Graph Streaming Processor and Blaize software platform, called Picasso. Blaize GSP is the first fully programmable processor architecture and software platform that is built from the ground up to be 100% graph-native.
Picasso is a true graph-native software platform accelerates the entire AI application development cycle to build and optimize complete artificial intelligence applications running on GSP silicon.
Its products are used in datacenter servers, edge infrastructure platforms, and client platforms in business and consumer applications ranging from massive machine learning farms to sensor fusion and advanced neural networks for autonomous driving.
Dinakar Munagala, Satyaki Goneru, Val G. Cook and Ke Yin founded ThinCI in 2010 and is based in El Dorado Hill, California. It is backed by DENSO, Daimler, SPARX Group, Magna, Samsung Catalyst Fund, Temasek, GGV Capital, and SGInnovate. Blaize has teams in Campbell, California and Cary, North Carolina, as well as subsidiaries in Hyderabad, India and Leeds and Kings Langley in the U.K. It employs more than 325 people worldwide.
