Blessing O. Nwodo

Blessing O. (Ofia-Inyinya) Nwodo is a Nigerian creative writer whose works include fiction, poetry and nonfiction. She was shortlisted in the 2021 Toyin Fálọlá Prize, longlisted in the 2021 African Writers Awards for Creative Non-Fiction, and nominated for the 2019 Lost Balloon Pushcart Prize for Speculative Fiction.

In 2020, she was included in the WIGLEAF TOP 50 writers of 2020 longlist, and in 2016, she was awarded the Highly Rated Prize in the Nigerian Travel Story competition by Travel Next Door. Her work has been funded by the Lambda Foundation and Ontario Arts Council.
