Blitzz operates a remote virtual assistance platform that offers remote video inspections, field service, and customer support services. The company's platform uses artificial intelligence (AI) and features image recognition, live pointers, live editing, remote flashlights, customer relationship management (CRM) integrations, and more, enabling businesses to carry out inspections in less time and at a lesser cost, and ensuring the safety of inspectors and field technicians.
Blitzz's instant remote video assistance software can aid users in a variety of inspecting and auditing tasks:
- Remote quality assurance
- Insurance, warranty, and claims
- Inspection of heavy machinery
- Supplier compliance audits
- Transportation inspection
- Environmental compliance
- Home appraisal
According to Blitzz, its solution had proven beneficial for a number of different companies. The following list contains specific use cases:
- A global construction company saved time spent on quality assurance by making its QA process remote.
- A construction company introduced frequent quality control checks without increasing costs.
- An insurance company was able to make claims processing tasks more efficient.
- A tank inspections company achieved a 75% reduction in travel costs.
- A smartphone manufacturer inspected suppliers across the globe, cutting costs nearly 100%.
- A government organization managed to almost double efficiency across 1,500 inspectors.
- Inspectors verified compliance during construction phases of energy projects.
Blitzz offers subscription-based monthly and annual plans to customers, as well as special pricing plans for government organizations and municipalities.
The app can be rebranded by the user to meet specific branding requirements, offering customization features related to color schemes and themes.
The Blitzz platform recognizes two primary user types: Licensed users and Participants. Licensed users are agents who host the video session and can invite other participants. A Participant is an invitee in a video session set up by a licensed user. Participants do not require a Blitzz account nor license in order to join a video session and can join for free from their phone, tablet, or computer browser without having to download the app.
Blitzz distinguishes its solution from software designed for meetings, such as Zoom or WebEx, as opposed to software specifically built to facilitate carrying out and documenting an inspection. The company intentionally designed the software to be accessible by customers, without requiring them to download and install an app, as that could negatively impact their experience.
Blitzz participated in the Class XVI cohort of The Alchemist Accelerator in April 2017 and raised an estimated $1,000,000.
