He is an American comedian, musician, singer-songwriter, poet, and actor.
He was born on August 21, 1990, in Hamilton, Massachusetts, USA.
In 2008, he graduated from St. John's Preparatory School and entered New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
The beginning of his career was in 2006, when the aspiring artist recorded several songs on video and posted them on YouTube. The number of views skyrocketed after the videos hit Break.com and were seen by its users.
In January 2008, he first performed for Comedy Central's show The World Stands Up in London and signed a contract with the record label Comedy Central Records.
In 2013, Burnham's sitcom Zack Stone Is Going to Be Popular, about a teenager "obsessed with the new American dream of becoming famous with no talent," appeared on MTV.
In 2018, he made his feature film debut with his own screenplay, "Eighth Grade."
