Bob Fosse

Bob Fosse (born June 23, 1927), birth name Robert Louis Fosse, was an American film director, screenwriter, actor, theatre director, author, and ballet dancer known for his work in musical theatre. Born in Chicago, Fosse studied at Amundsen High School and held citizenship in the United States.

Fosse's notable works include All That Jazz, a film he also directed. He directed other films such as Star 80. He was the recipient of the Academy Award for Best Director.

Bob Fosse passed away on September 23, 1987 in Washington, D.C.. He was survived by his daughter, Nicole Fosse.
