writer.
She is the aunt of actor Macaulay Culkin.
In 1961 she made her soap opera debut in Love of Life, where she starred for the next six years.
In 1967, she won a Theatre World Award for her role in the Broadway production of My Dear Charlie.
In 1969 she made her big screen debut in the film "Horses Are Shot, Aren't They?" and in the following decades she appeared in more than seventy films and television shows.
Soviet audiences are known for her role as Holly McClain in the first two Die Hard movies
