Boris Yegorov (1937-1994) was a Russian physician and astronaut born in Moscow. He held citizenship in both the Soviet Union and Russia. Yegorov was educated at the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University.
Throughout his life, Yegorov received numerous awards, including the Merited Master of Sports of the USSR, Hero of the Soviet Union, Pilot-Cosmonaut of the USSR, Order of Lenin, Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Medal "For the Development of Virgin Lands", and Hero of Labor (Vietnam).
Boris Yegorov was the son of Boris Grigorievich Egorov and Anna Vasilievna Skorodumova-Egorova. He also had a child named Boris Yegorov. Yegorov passed away in Moscow on September 12, 1994.
