Brightblu

Brightblu is a Mumbai-based electric vehicle (EV) software and hardware company. It was founded in 2019 when Asia Electric and DrivAMP merged. It has a research and development center in Pune, India. Brightblu's projects are intended to aid car users to transition to a clean energy future with EV charging solutions.

Brightblu's flagship product is called Jolt. It is a hardware device that allows users to set up an EV charging station. The hardware itself can be mounted to a wall and is IoT-enabled so users can connect via Bluetooth, WiFi, or Ethernet to start charging their vehicles. Brightblu also offers a mobile app so users can pay through that as well.

There is an LED light on the hardware that indicates the progress of the battery as it charges. Jolt also comes with charging cables that are type 2 compatible. The owner and operator of each Jolt station also have access to management software tools. This allows them to monitor the charger output and ensure that it's not compromising the building load capacity, as these charging boxes can be added to almost any building, making them easily accessible.
