Busby Berkeley was an American film director, actor, choreographer, and theatre director, born on November 29, 1895, in Los Angeles . He held citizenship in the United States and passed away in Palm Springs, California, on March 14, 1976 .
Berkeley directed several films throughout his career, including "The Gang's All Here" , "Dames" , "Babes on Broadway" , and "Gold Diggers of 1935" . Some of his other works include "For Me and My Gal" , "Strike Up the Band" , and "They Made Me a Criminal" . Additionally, Berkeley directed "Fashions of 1934" , "Gold Diggers of 1937" , and "Gold Diggers in Paris" .
Apart from directing films, Busby Berkeley also worked as a choreographer and theatre director .
