He held citizenship in the United States and was known by the pseudonym Frigo . Buster Keaton was born in Piqua, Kansas and passed away in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles on February 1, 1966 .
He was best known for his silent films, where his trademarks included physical comedy with a stoic, deadpan expression, earning him the nicknames "The Great Stone Face" and "Buster" .
