C. Northcote Parkinson (born July 30, 1909, in Barnard Castle, died March 9, 1993, in Canterbury) was a British historian, writer, and novelist. He held citizenship in the United Kingdom. Parkinson was educated at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, King's College London, and Britannia Royal Naval College.
One of his most notable works is Parkinson's Law, and he received the Julian Corbett Prize in Naval History for his contributions to the field.
