We propose to develop and demonstrate a lightweight, scalable, modular, 95% efficient independent system for exporting electrical power from the JLTV prime mover at any desired voltage.  Our solution obviates the need for energy storage when providing the objective power level, simplifying the shipboard certification process and logistics burden. Redundancy is available through dual PTO pads and most of the components are commercially available as permanent magnet motors now approach the power density of pulse optimized batteries. Our rugged, waterproof system weighs less than 100lbs and the existing 28 VDC internal power system can be retained.
